You will find this vision in Revelation 11 as well. It is a vision of the heavenly Tabernacle. The King and Priest (those anointed) bring the outpouring of the Holy Spirit through their work. Does this tell us anything about Jesus and His work?

* Holy God, thank You for Your word to us today.
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.”
What wonderful words these are for us today!
This is the message of Israel at the Red Sea, of Gideon, of David and Goliath, of the Lord speaking to Elijah in a lower whisper.
God works in such a different way, on such a different level, than any other.
He works BY HIS SPIRIT!
Nobody else, no other nation or government, no king or president, no earthly power or spiritual entity can do this!
Only God.
We can be encouraged in the still and quiet voice of the Lord, taking joy in the day of small things. That though we may not be great and mighty – We are of the Lord, and His Spirit works through us!
The world cannot offer anything like that.
Hallelujah, what a God we have!
* Dear Lord,
Thank You that You work through Your Spirit.
Thank You that You the Son sent You the Spirit to us, to be our companion in this life.
Thank You that Your Spirit is at work in and through us as we walk this road.
