SAA Notes

A miracle does not require the recipient to know who is performing the miracle or even to have faith. Jesus just heals this man of a lifetime of blindness – this would include reprogramming the brain to understand the messages the eyes send to the brain! This should fill us with awe!

SJA Notes

* Dear God, please sink us in self that we might rise in You today.

“He put mud on my eyes, and I washed, and I see.”

The church leaders at the time of Jesus really did not like Him.

They were looking to get Him gone by any means.

But here is the problem they faced.

Jesus changed people’s lives.

The man was blind, and then after doing what Jesus said – He could see again.

Outside of Jesus we are all blind in our sin, unable to properly see.

But Jesus opens the eyes of our spirits, He gives us new birth – Hearts made new, stubborn wills put to flight!

Praise God we have a Saviour King who could not only heal the earthly sorrows, but could and did defeat death and sin at Calvary, and who continues to work for us.

Hallelujah!

* God Above,

You are holy – May Your Name be kept holy by us Your people.

You are true – May Your truth be proclaimed by us Your people.

You are love – May Your love be evident in us Your people.

Amen.
