SAA Notes

Verses 2:8-10 are a theme song for both the New and Old Testaments. They are excellent verses to memorize. Meditate on verses 1:22,23 and on the thought that we His Church are the fullness of Christ.

SJA Notes

* Dear God, You are holy and righteous – Please show us more of You today from Your word.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith.”

Here is a verse of a few words that says so much.

God’s grace is a powerful thing – Giving to us that which we do not deserve.

Because even though we are saved through faith,

“And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

This is a critical foundation point. So important.

May we never get caught up in fabricated man-wisdom to believe that we could be the author of our faith, or even have any part in generating it. Even a little bit.

No!

We are HIS workmanship.

Created in CHRIST JESUS!

IT is all of Him, and none of us.

*  O God, full of grace and mercy,

Please embed Your word within us.

Please help us to lift Your Name high, for we are Your workmanship.

Please help us to walk in the good works that You have created and prepared for us beforehand.

We love You, God above.

Please hear our prayer.

Amen.
