SAA Notes

Even the disciples’ holidays were interrupted in those years – yet we do not feel sorry for them. Have the words of Jesus in verse 50 ever spoken to you and given renewed heart? This is a testimony to share with others.

SJA Notes

* Dear God, Your book of life is what we need, please write it on our hearts today.

“Now many saw them going and recognized them, and they ran there on foot from all the towns and go there ahead of them.”

They ran to Jesus!

“And when they got out of the boat, the people immediately recognized him and ran about the whole region to bring the sick people on their beds to wherever they heard he was.”

People ran about the countryside, telling people about Jesus, bringing people to Jesus.

How wonderful this is!

Do we run to Jesus? Do we implore others to run to Him?

He is the only one that can save us, the only one that can bring us lasting and true peace, the only one that can show us what real hope is, steadfast love and faithfulness.

Let us never stop running to Him, our Saviour!

* Father God,

We run to You, to Your Son, into Your arms.

Please let us find rest in the shadow of Your wings, in the shelter of Your everlasting arms.

Amen.
