SAA Notes

Sometimes it is good just to praise the Lord, to tell out what He has done! Try to pray a prayer just with praise and confession, but without any asking. It’s hard, but worth the effort in just spending a few minutes telling the Lord what you think and feel about Him.

SJA Notes

* Dear God, we would take up our cross and follow You today. Please help us do this, so that we might be worthy of You.

“Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!”

In the ups and downs of each day, of week on week – We have read and will read of how we can cry out to God in our distress and turmoil.

Here we can see another aspect of being God’s people walk this narrow road through life.

Overflowing praise!

“Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!”

We are all God’s people able to praise Him.

It is not a matter of voice quality or being able to carry a tune.

It is a command that we can carry out with gusto because there is no judgement on skill or performance, on how well we might hit a note or what we look like when we sing.

It is a heart-open unashamed uncompromising voicing of our love for our Saviour – We are all able to praise our God, to sing and shout to Him.

* Almighty God,

You alone are God – We praise Your Name!

You alone are powerful to save – We praise Your Name!

You alone have saved us from our sin, brought us into new life, with a wonderful inheritance – We praise Your Name!

Amen.
