Jesus showed His authority over demons, sickness, disability and death. May we help others to see some little glimpse of His Glory!

SJA Notes

* God Above, please write Your word on our hearts today.

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”

Here is the Good Shepherd!

We see Jesus healing the sick, extremely ill people – Some that have suffered depths of agony and pain for years, some had even succumbed to death.

But as much as He healed mortal temporal afflictions, He is the Shepherd that GUIDES His sheep.

“And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction.”

He was the Great Preaching Shepherd, pointing us to His kingdom.

Hallelujah, what a Saviour!

* Gracious Lord God,

Thank You that even though we suffer mortal affliction, pain and sorrow, loss and loneliness – Thank You for Jesus who finds the lost sheep and brings them home.

Thank You Lord, we praise Your Name.

Amen.
