SAA Notes
John the Baptist’s witness to Jesus gave Jesus His first disciples. Andrew brought Peter to Jesus. Who should you bring? First, bring that one to God in prayer today.
SJA Notes
* Dear God in Heaven, all creation is Yours – Please teach us from Your word today.
“The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, ‘Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
John points people to Jesus!
This is for us to do as well, the message we share.
That Jesus is the way to be freed from the bondage of sin, captivity that is so evidently visible in ourselves and in the world around us.
That Jesus is the sacrifice that shows God is fully just and full of mercy and grace to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
That Jesus is both powerful enough and loving enough, intentional, to work this wonderful grace and mercy for us, broken and desperate, sinners though we are.
Praise God for His love for us! God in three Persons, Father, Son and Spirit.
Praise God for our hope, in Him, the inheritance of eternal life that we look forward to.
Hallelujah, what a Saviour!
* Father God,
Thank You for Jesus, who takes away our sin.
Thank You for Your mercy, not giving us what we do deserve.
Thank You for Your grace, giving to us that which we do not deserve.
Thank You!
Amen.
