* Dear God, please help us to know You better today as we read Your word.
“Young man, I say to you, arise.”
Arise!
This is the strong voice of power that we hear when called into the kingdom. Our dry bones, as Ezekiel prophesied, made alive.
This is the mind-boggling powerful voice that spun creation into being, a work in motion, light and time and matter together in a moment.
This is the quiet prompting voice that we hear saying, “This is the way, walk in it.”
How wonderful these words are from our Saviour – “I say to you, arise.”
We are made new, given new life, dead hearts made flesh, stubborn wills broken and reformed under the Sovereign Will of the Almighty God.
Praise God for His salvation to us!
* Gracious Father,
Thank You for Jesus, who raises us who were dead in our sins.
Please make us more like Him today.
We praise Your Name Lord God, help us to love You better today.
