SAA Notes

It is always a salutary exercise to meditate on the four grounds with reference to your own spiritual state. What is the Lord saying to you today?

SJA Notes

* Dear Lord God, thank You for giving us the words of life. Thank You for Jesus, Your word become flesh.

“But those that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.”

Good soil.

No hard path with birds. No rocky shallow ground. No thorn-infested pasture.

Good soil.

What are the marks of good soil?

Hearing the word of God, accepting it and bearing fruit.

Let us be encouraged to be good soil. To hear God’s word and accept it (to hearken, listen _and_ obey), and go about bearing the fruit of His Spirit.

* Gracious Lord,

Thank You for Your Spirit that works within us, causing Your word to grow, fruit to be born.

Thank You for Your loving care of us.

And thank You for Jesus, who is Your Word become flesh. May we hear Him, accept Him, and point people to Him.

We would see Jesus today!

Amen.
