SAA Notes

It is wonderful to know that God can do what you or I can’t – in this case, arrange for 70 cavalry and 200 foot soldiers to bring His Apostle to safety, on his long road to Rome. What small or great providences can you recount from your own life?

SJA Notes

Notice Paul’s immediate action on hearing what his nephew had to say. “Paul called one of the centurions and said, ‘Take this young man to the tribune, for he has something to tell him.'”

Paul acted right and true, within a secular government, trusting that God would take care of the situation.

This is a good example for us to think on, wrestle with and work to uphold in our own lives.

* Gracious God,

Please continue to work within us, Your Spirit refining us as through the fire.

Please continue to uphold us in this world, for we are but breath.

Please continue to strengthen us for each day, for our days are short.

Thank You for Jesus.

Amen.
