Jesus drew Zacchaeus to Himself. This should encourage you to pray for that one who does not yet know Him. The point of the Parable of the Talents is seen in verse 13 – put what I have given you to work for My kingdom until I return! Don’t speculate practice!

* Creator God, thank You for continuing to sustain creation, thank You for giving us life.
“And he was seeking to see who Jesus was …”
Zacchaeus was SEEKING Jesus.
He had presumably heard much of this Jesus (healing diseases, freeing the demon-possessed, rebuking the hypocritical leadership, raising the dead, preaching God’s word with power) – and wanted to know about Him.
“For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost.”
Zacchaeus was lost. Jesus sought Him out and saved Him.
Today people are seeking.
Eternity is wrapped up in and written on our hearts.
May we point seekers to Jesus!

Please bring those around us to a saving understanding of Jesus – To know their sin, to know their desperate need for You, to know You better!
