SAA Notes

When you read the descriptions of Bezalel and Oholiab, it should change our appreciation of all our ordinary crafts. There is a greater purpose for our gifts in needlework or woodwork than just our own enjoyment. Here they are used to help others worship God. Gifts should bless and help others.

SJA Notes

* Dear God, please teach us today, we would learn more of You.

“And I have given to all able men ability, that they may make all that I have commanded you.”

God did not simply lay out the detailed plans for the tabernacle, clothes, the alter and more – and then just leave.

In His grace He gives ability to all who are able.

May we be obedient tools of His glory and service, living for Jesus – Able to be equipped by the Lord, walking in obedience under God’s will, doing what He tells us.

* Dear Lord God,

Please make us able children, following You, our Father in heaven.

Thank You that You equip us to do Your work.

Amen.
