SAA Notes
The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is the birth of joy into your life and world. Christ gives us confidence in prayer and to prayer, based on His resurrection and on the Father’s love for you and me. How has Jesus overcome the world?
SJA Notes
* Loving God, steadfast and true – Please teach us from Your word today.
“I came from the Father and have come into the world, and now I am leaving the world and going to Father.”
John really wants us to see how clear Jesus was about His relationships with His Father – God in the Person of the Son with God in the Person of the Father!
There is much symmetry here, a mirror journey, pivoting Jesus’ life on earth. The “before” (from the Father) and the “after” (to the Father).
How good it is that in our trial and tribulation on this earth we can take heart, we are instructed to, because Jesus has overcome the world.
Praise God for this!
* Dear God Above,
Thank You that You have overcome the world we live in.
Please guide us today in our steps.
May we bring You glory.
Amen.
