SAA Notes

Solomon did it! It seemed a mammoth task before he began, but he did it! Hallelujah! I’m sure everyone felt like that when our church building was finished. Likewise, Jesus shall finish what He has begun! That day, too, shall come!

SJA Notes

The word “gold” or “golden” is mentioned sixteen times in this passage.

It is very intentional that the most precious materials were used in the construction of the temple by Solomon.

How good is it then to think about us as living stones, being built up as a spiritual house (1 Peter 2).

Jesus is always building His church, and we are being refined – Being even more precious than gold! (1 Peter 1)

We are a wonderful precious building material for God’s house – Praise Him, praise Him!

* Wondrous God,

Praise Your Name! Hallelujah! For You are good and Your mercies are without end.

Praise You Lord – For You consider us more precious than gold!

Praise Your Name! For You are our saviour, our king and lord.

Thank You Lord!
