God has committed unto you through His apostle the ministry of reconciliation! May the joy of being a new creation in Christ strengthen your heart today!

SJA Notes

Now is the favourable time! Now is the day of salvation!

Here is a cry from Paul for those reading his words to come to Jesus. He implores his listeners, be reconciled to God!

And this wonderful, exciting and merciful hope we have, that God listens to us and helps us,

“Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

Let this be our cry, as we speak to folk around us. Friends, family, people we see regularly, and those we only see every few years.

Let our lives be salt and light, imploring people to be reconciled to God in Jesus.

And we have this deep and profound truth as our reasoning,

“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

May we be found in Jesus. May those around us come to Jesus.

May all the nations see Jesus and come to Him!

* Father God,

This is our prayer today, as we are uplifted in heart and mind reading Paul’s words.

Please save those around us and onwards outwards; Please call them, and may they come to You. May they be reconciled to You, through Jesus becoming Your righteousness.

Please Lord God, this we pray.
