SAA Notes

How do you recognize favouritism in your own relationships? Why should it not be found in our church and families? What relationship is there between faith and works or deeds?

SJA Notes

* Lord Above, show us Jesus today as we read Your word to us.

“For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.”

This is why Jesus had to come!

None of us, not one, can keep God’s law.

This is the good news that we have!

Jesus came for sinners, one and all; the lowly, the wealthy, the in-betweens.

This means our judgement must be altered, showing no partiality. None at all.

This means our actions display this lack of partiality; we do not treat one person different to another.

This means we can show active-thought-full mercy because we understand the mercy God has shown us.

Hallelujah, what a Saviour we have!

* Merciful Father,

You are wonderful, we praise Your Name.

Thank You for saving us, sinners, through Your mercy and Your grace.

Thank You for Jesus.

Please help us be about the good works that You have stored up for us to do.

Amen.
