Reading
SAA Notes
We see in these chapters the great mystery – God is so powerful as to keep them all alive. He sends His angel to strengthen Paul. Yet this same Paul dies under the sword a few years hence. Do you know the Lord’s character as Paul did, so as to trust Him too with tragedy, His seeming failure, with death?
SJA Notes
* Dear God Above, please show us Your mercy today, written large in Your word.
“So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that is will be exactly as I have been told.”
We might not have an angel appear and speak to us, as Paul did here.
But we have God’s word, written for us.
God’s word teaches us, it tells us things that have happened, are happening and that will happen.
We were saved through the death and blood of Christ at calvary on the cross – Do we have faith that His word is true?
We today as God’s people live under His sovereign will, we are directed to take our cares and worries and anxieties to Him, for He cares for us – Do we have faith that His word is true?
We have a great inheritance being prepared for us in the life after this life – Do we have faith that His word is true?
Do we trust God’s word is true and that it will be exactly as His word tells us?
* Mighty Father God in Heaven,
Please continue to work in our lives.
Please draw us to You, believer and unbeliever alike – For in You and You alone is life, and life to the full!
Please write Your word on our hearts, plant it deep, that we might be good soil and bear much fruit.
Amen.
